The short version: Stayput is free, runs on your own device, and comes with no warranty. Keep your originals.

What Stayput is

Stayput is a set of file tools that run inside your web browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us; the privacy page explains exactly what the site loads and counts. There is no account, no payment and no sign-up.

Your files are yours

We never receive your files, so we claim no rights to them and cannot see, store or share them. You are responsible for having the right to convert, edit or sign the files you use here.

No warranty

Stayput is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as stated in its MIT license. We test every tool, but file formats are complicated and a result can be wrong. Check the output before you rely on it, and keep your original file until you have. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site.

Fair use of the site

Use Stayput for anything lawful. Please do not try to disrupt the site or its host. The source code is open under the MIT license, so you are welcome to read it, run your own copy or build on it under that license's terms.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes and the date below moves. The history of every change is public in the repository.
