Most documents that land in your inbox for signing are not using an e-signature service: they are a lease, a permission slip, an invoice approval or an HR form sent as a plain PDF with "please sign and return". Printing, signing and scanning works but takes ten minutes and a printer. Adding the signature on screen takes one.
Draw your signature with a mouse, trackpad or finger, or type your name in a handwriting style. Then go to the page that needs it, place the signature, drag it onto the line and resize it from the corner. Initials and today’s date are separate stamps, so a contract that wants initials on every page and a full signature on the last is quick to do. Free text is there for printed names and job titles.
The signed PDF is written with pdf-lib inside your browser and downloads directly. Neither the document nor the drawing of your signature is sent anywhere or kept after you close the tab, which is the part worth caring about: a signature image plus a sample document is exactly what someone would need to forge one.
How it works

- Move between pages with the arrows, place what each page needs, and download the signed PDF.
In your browser, not on a server
Your signature is captured as strokes on a canvas (or typed with an embedded handwriting font), turned into a transparent PNG in memory, and drawn onto the page with pdf-lib at the exact spot and size you chose on the pdf.js preview. The signed PDF is assembled in your tab and handed to your browser’s download.
Compared with upload-based tools: E-signature sites keep a copy of your contract, your signature and your email address, and most limit free users to a few documents a month. This tool has no server, so there is nothing to keep, nothing to count and nothing to leak.
Verify it yourself. Load this page, turn off Wi-Fi or switch to airplane mode, and run the tool. Or open your browser's developer tools (F12, or Cmd-Option-I on a Mac), pick the Network tab, and watch it while you convert. The panel above does the same count for you.
Questions
Can I add initials to every page and a signature on the last?
Yes. Place your initials on each page with the initials button, then go to the last page and add the full signature. Every stamp can be moved and resized independently.
Does the other side need any software to see the signature?
No. The signature is drawn into the page itself, so it shows in every PDF viewer, including phones, browsers and printers.
How is this different from a digital signature?
This adds a visible signature, the on-screen version of signing a printout. A certificate-based digital signature proves the file was not changed afterwards and needs an identity certificate; if the sender requires one, their request will say so.
Is my signature saved anywhere?
No. It exists only in this tab while you work. Reload the page and it is gone; draw it again next time.
